BENITACHELL MIXED SATURDAY FOURS
RULES OF THE COMPETITION.
1. The competition will be administered by Benitachell Bowls Club
2. The controlling body comprises the club Captain, Vice Captain, Match & Competition Secretaries, Bowls Director and Duty Umpire.
3. An Emergency Committee will consist of any 2 of the above Officers.
4. All games shall be played under the Laws of the Game currently in Force in Spain subject to any local rules hereunder, deemed necessary by the controlling body.
5. Teams should consist of a minimum Eight players and maximum of Ten. Please take rule 11 into consideration when compiling your team.
6. Each Player must play a minimum of three games.
7. Any changes to the team entered should be submitted in writing before the competition starts. Any other changes should be submitted to the organizing committee for their approval.
8. Each team of four playing should be of a mixed gender.
9. All games will be 18 ends with 2 woods trial ends.
10. In cases where play has to be curtailed, 14 ends will constitute a game.
11. No show, unable to field a team or late arrival may at the controlling body´s discretion, be penalized by awarding the game to the opposition, with a score of 21-13 plus a deduction of one point in the league. Any team that concedes on more than two occasions will be required to withdraw from the competition and all previously played games shall be expunged from the records.
12. Any team which fails to field a team will still be liable to pay the full match fees for themselves and their opponents.
13. Starting time throughout the competition will be 9.30 am. for 10.00 am. Start.
