A good result from our Winter Leagues players last Wednesday saw them taking the full 10 points from Finca Guila at home. This has put us in pole position just 2 points ahead of Emerald Isle. Well done Winter League players.
We are also doing very well in the Northern League with the Lions Team enjoying a 10 nil victory at home over Calpe. Jan Kay´s team won 23–19. Geoff Morris´s team 29–9. Clive English´s team 41–2 and the triple that came back on the last end from 2 shots down to pick up 3 shots which had us all sitting on the edge of our seats was Lynda Warnes´s team. Well done to the Lions. This win has kept them in top spot.
The Tigers also had a good win on Monday. They picked up 8 points from the 10 on offer against the Onyx team from Javea Green, which keeps them in 2nd place. No game for our Jaguars.
The Annual Christmas Fayre will follow Club Morning on Sunday November 22nd. A number of stalls will be on show in and around the Clubhouse. Any help or donations please see or telephone Jan Kay on 965750754.
Our Saturday Winter fours League sponsored by Direkt Optik saw good wins this week for the teams Los Lanzadores and Los Jugadores.
