PANTOMIME
OLIVER TWIT - THE BBC 2013 PANTOMIME
The Benitachell Bowls Club turned their club house into a mini theatre for the nights of the 5th to the 8th of December with their own pantomime of Oliver Twit. The laughter and boos together with “oh no you’re not” and “oh yes we are” that are traditional with pantomimes; back when most of the audience were young kids took place throughout, with a number of songs that the audiences including many from El Cid & Javea Green Bowls Clubs were encouraged to join in with.
Well done to the 18 BBC bowlers together with two children who took to their roles with enthusiasm to make the 4 nights memorable and a big thank you to Tony Lawley who wrote and directed the show
