Hog Roast


Take one whole pig and slowly spit roast for 5 hours. Then add a superb Salad Bar to complement. Next prepare an outside terrace serving area decorated with brightly coloured balloons, straws, tablecloths, sweeties, etc to add atmosphere and flavour to proceedings. Sprinkle in 86 hungry guests and spice up expectations with a drinks service to table. Then serve to the sizzling sounds of 50s/60s music and enjoy, Hog Roast El Fresco. Perfect!!!

This is exactly what took place at Benitachell Bowls Club on the evening of Saturday 20 July - the event having been declared a resounding success by all in attendance. A special thanks was conveyed on the night to Jacqui Logan, Social Director/Organiser and her committee. Thanks also to Ruth Meadows who saw that things ran smoothly before the night and during this brilliant event.

In addition, congratulations were extended to Mike and Sandra Clarke who were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
