What a way to spend a lovely summer’s night – good food, good company and excellent music. That was how 65 of us spent Saturday night, boogying away the hours and re-living our youth! Some more than others, as Carol and David Meare went to great lengths to recreate the fashion of the 50s and what a wonderful job they did. Well done – it was greatly appreciated by all.
Our D.J. for the evening was Tony Dean, ex BBC (not the Bowls Club) and California Radio. He was absolutely excellent and played a wide range of music catering for all tastes.
Thanks must go to Patty Johnson who arranged the entertainment for the evening and to all the Committee Members, spouses and friends who helped to get the place ready and put it back to normal afterwards.
