RULES OF THE COMPETITION

1. The knockout competition shall be played between 1st October and 31st March. Clubs to arrange convenient time to play within the rounds closing date.
2. Teams will comprise 20 players. A Single, a Pair, a Triple and a Four will play at home and a Single, a Pair, a Triple and a Four will play away simultaneously.
3. All games must commence at the same time. Pairs, Triples and Fours starting at 10.30am (or 2.00pm for afternoon games). Singles matches will start 45 minutes later.
4. Each 10 must have at least one male or female player.
5. Pairs, Triples and Fours will be 18 ends and Singles will be first to 21 shots.
6. Scoring will be 2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a defeat in all disciplines i.e. 16 points available. The winner will be the team with the most points. If points are equal then shot difference will decide the winner. Should the scores still be level the Singles games will decide the result, first by points and then by shot difference if still no result the go through each discipline until a winner is found i.e. first Pairs then Triples and finally Fours. In any discipline not contested the defaulting team will loose 2 points and 10 shots.
7. The home team will provide a qualified marker for the Singles and where possible a qualified umpire should be in attendance.
8. All results must be e-mailed to Colin Armitage (ku.oc.liamtoh|egatimraniloc#ku.oc.liamtoh|egatimraniloc) within 24 hours of the completion of the game.
9. The controlling body comprising CBBA President and CBBA Southern League Co-ordinators will have the final decision on all disputes.
