On a very hot sunny morning the Tigers were home to Javea Onyx and after a close encounter came away with 6-4 points and 74-69 shots. Not certain at this stage as to whether Tigers end the season as runners-up as a couple of matches still to be played.
On rink 8 Malcolm Sprawson, Clive Langan & skip Bob Cockell were slightly ahead at the half way stage only to find themselves one shot down after 16 ends. However, they dug in to win the final 2 ends to come out 20-17 winners and earn an important 2 points.
On rink 6 Linda Smith & Mike Smith and skip Greg Sperring again kept up their winning run and came out on top 23-14 after going behind after 7 ends. They fought back and a 7 on the penultimate end ensured their victory and 2 points.
On rink 2 Margaret and Bob Bailey with skip Mary Cockell were 6 shots down at the half way stage but with determination and some good bowling came back strongly to level the score after 14 ends. However, Onyx dug in and just nicked the game 17-18.

Our Challenge team of Patty Sprawson, Alan Guest and skip Maureen How again romped into an early lead and led by 16 shots after 8 ends.
