On Sunday afternoon the club held its Autumn Fair. We are fortunate in our club to have so many willing helpers, a great team effort to make such a successful event. The weather adding to a wonderful atmosphere and everyone having a good time.

We had a good selection of stalls selling a variety of items from Cuddly toys, Xmas wares, super homemade jams and pickles, beautiful cactus displays and hand painted cards, not to mention the fantastic cake stall, all home baked and kindly donated, we thank all of you for such wonderful contributions, and our girls for helping sell it.

Outside we had the clothing and bric-à-brac stall, the book stall, the bottle stall, again all donated by members and run so efficiently by a great team.

To add to the fun we had a 'guess the weight of the cake', the Big card game, guess the number of grains of rice, pot of gold and 'nearest the drink' game. Just to test our fading skills!

The 'Free Spirits HD' calendar for charity was well supported, and would you believe a lovely young lady at the age of 91, Yvonne's mum, enjoyed having a photo call seated on Peters massive Harley Davidson, great fun
On the bowls green there was considerable interest at the far end where prospective members could have a free lesson in the art of bowling and hopefully enjoy it so much they will want to join us.

Of course we must mention the Fun Bowls that took place on the 5 rinks nearest the club room. It was great entertainment for those relaxing in the sun, enjoying some of the food and drink that was on offer, with all the proceeds from this event being donated to the local Bomberos

Finally a big thank you to all who donated, all who gave much time and effort in helping and all those who attended. We couldn't do it without you.
