2019 LADIES DAY AT ROYAL ASCOT

.
.

The BBC Marquee at ‘Ascot Ladies Day’ on Thursday afternoon was hosted by Lord Terry Quinton and Lady Ruth Meadows. Overseeing the racing was BBC Course Steward Dudley Davies accompanied by his lovely wife Carol.

The Marquee was full to the rafters with many ‘Titled’ guests who enjoyed an afternoon of 6 top quality races. Prizes were awarded for ‘Top Lady’ and ‘Top Gent’ and these were won by Denise Hart and Mick Adams. Prizes were also given for ‘Best Hat’ and ‘Best Tie’ and these were won by Denise Hart and Edward Teal of the Chessington Teal’s.

The Hat and Tie prizes were donated by the caterers ‘Croft International’ who supplied a wonderful ‘High Tea’ of strawberry’, scones with butter, jam and clotted cream and various cake choices for desert. Everybody had a great time and look forward to next year at Ascot.
