NORTHERN & WINTER LEAGUE
19th November
A great result for the BBC Lions on Monday, taking all ten points at home to El Cid Scimitars with a shot difference of 74. Our Tigers travelled to Calpe and managed to pick up only 3 points from a much improved side now that their "swallows" are back in town. Our Jaguars were playing El Cid Sabres and only managed to win one game but came away with the shot difference!!
It is close at the top of the table with just 2 points separating first and second with third place 11 points behind the leaders

Back after a two week break our Winter League team could only draw at home to Greenlands, after both teams won 2 matches each and the scores were also level.

CHRISTMAS FAYRE
THIS SUNDAY 22ND NOVEMBER (following club day). Last minute donations will be gratefully received.
A number of stalls will be set up in the Clubhouse and Courtyard selling a range of products, i.e. Clothes, Jewellery, Kitchenware, Garden/Household Items, Christmas Decorations, Jams/Chutneys, Ceramics, Manicure Demonstration, and lots more.
Donations for the Cake & Candy stall should be brought along on the day but other donations can be given to any member of the Social Committee or placed in the boxes in the Clubhouse

Spain verses Portugal
Spain won this Test match overall with our BBC ladies doing exceptionally well – Mary Cockell, (playing her first International) Yvonne Briden, Carol Meare and Maggie Lawley. Other ladies playing for Spain in this tournament were Jan Dando, Ann Eagle, Sheri Fletcher, Lynne Greenland, Sabrina Marks, Diane Ridley Debbie Colquhoun and Peta Rhodes. Well done to you all.
Yvonne, Lynne, Jan, Sheri, Debbie and Sabrina have also been selected for the match against Guernsey in February 2010.
